Waldoboro Library February Art Fun for Adults
- With Curbside Pick-up!
Beginning Wednesday, February 9, and running for five Wednesdays through March 9, the library will be offering a series of creative art projects just for adults.
Due to continued pandemic precautions, the art projects - complete with instructions & supplies - will be available for curbside pickup on the Wednesdays after 11AM at the library.
All adults are welcome - whether you are an aspiring or working artist, or one who swears to be totally lacking in artistic ability.
The projects will be simple to understand and can be developed, creatively, in as basic or complex a manner, as each participant chooses to make them.
So come and join in the fun!! Pick up your weekly project, take it home and mess around and explore your personal creativity - in your own comfy surroundings.
Waldoboro artist and teacher, Joyce Steel, will be providing the projects for the Art Fun for Adults program at the library. An art educator, Steel has taught in both public and private education, as well as a variety of adult education courses and private classes. She is committed to providing an innovative creative learning environment where participants are encouraged to experiment and discover their own creative voice.
Art Club is free of charge and limited to 15 members. To enroll, or for more information, please call the Waldoboro Library at
832-4484, email to info@waldoboro.lib.me.us or stop by the library - open Mondays & Thursdays, 12-7, Wednesdays & Fridays, 10-5 and Saturdays, 9-1 PM. The deadline for enrollment is Friday, February 4.
