                                                                   Using the Library at Home

You can access your patron record to do your own renewals and to opt in to have a history of your checkouts. Ask at the front desk to choose your preferences for receiving (or not) email reminders for items coming due or overdue. We are part of the Maine InfoNet Library System (MILS), a shared library system that brings together smaller libraries from across the state. This gives you easy access to a much wider collection.

       To access your account:
  • Go to waldoborolibrary.org.
  • Click the green MILS button on the left (about halfway down).
  • Click the “login” button in the top right corner.
  • Enter your barcode and PIN – by default your PIN is the last four digits of your phone number.
You can change this once you’re logged in.
  • From here you can renew any eligible items, place a hold on items from Waldoboro as well as
any of the other MILS libraries, see your reading history (if you’ve opted into keeping that), and
see any fines you may have.
