Midcoast Music Together
This fall, the Library will offer monthly sessions of Jessica Day's popular interactive music program for children ages 0-6 years old.
These sessions will usually meet on the last Monday of each month. Specific dates are January 29, February 26, March 26, April 30, May 21, June 25, July 30, and August 27.
The musical fun begins at 10:30 (before the Library opens so we can be loud!) and goes for about 45 minutes. Come sing and dance with us!
Music Together for BABIES!
This summer, Jess will lead a music and movement program for babies from birth to eight months old. It will meet on Mondays at 10:30 on July 9 and 16 and August 6 and 13. Space is limited, so please call the Library at 832-4484 to register.
Bikes For Books
King’s Solomon Lodge of Masons of Waldoboro is once again donating four bicycles to the Library for a summer reading incentive program. For every five picture books or two chapter books read, the reader receives a raffle ticket toward a bike with the drawing on August 25. All children are welcome to try for a bike!
Funding for the bikes is through King Solomon’s Lodge, the Grand Lodge of Maine, and community donations. If interested in helping the Masons with a contribution to this popular program, please contact Al McKay at 380-1582.
